Stratford, ON Shakespeare Festival

Mom and I went to Stratford, ON for the Shakespeare Festival and had a great time. On the way we stopped at an apiary.

The average honey bee will actually make only one twelfth of a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime.

There is a queen in there. 4 of them actually and those are 4 colonies. Drones only job is to fertilize. Workers only get pollen. Very interesting.

Just your average, everyday White Crested Black Polish Chicken.

This was a tire horse.

Too bad this wasn't a video because the fun part was watching Mom get on it. :)

This is Festival Theater, one of three (or maybe four) theaters in Stratford. We saw all three of the plays here. The first one was Romeo and Juliet. That is what we are going to see here. Then we also saw All's Well That Ends Well and Hamlet.

Downtown Stratford.

This fun building we said we would visit when we walked up the other side of the street and then forgot! So I don't know what it is.

Perth County Courthouse

There were some swans. It was funny to watch them when they were on the sidewalk chasing dogs, nipping at people and just creating mayhem.

Our last dinner we ordered pizza and some lovely people that used to live in Windsor took our picture.
