Today Ania told me she wanted to wear her "koh-ki-dunks". I wasn't sure what that meant, so I had her show me.
So I said "Oooooooooh, polka dots..." and she said "Yeah, kokidunks." That made me laugh.And here is Alina... isn't she getting big!!?

Those mistakes are a lot cuter on a baby than someone my age. I can never remember the word for wheel barrow. So I just say something that kind of sounds like it. Mouta and Boukari now know my word for it. Really doing a good job over here. Teaching them poor French.
But they know the real word, too. Now they also speak Yank/West African French.
