This is the restaurant in Warsaw where we ate twice. It was yummy...
Old town Warsaw. They had pictures of what this looked like after World War 2 - it was totally destroyed. They only rebuilt it I think in th 1980s or something.
Jay with his grandma on his Dad's side. She was very sweet and always wanted all of us to eat in her apartment. They live in Krakow. I don't think we have any pictures of his grandpa on our camera.
Some building in Krakow
Libby and Josh's backs in Krakow.
Wawel Castle in Krakow
View I think from the castle
Dragon's lair (or something like that) at Wawel.
Watch tower in Krakow.
View from watch tower. We had to climb a lot of steps to get up there.
Auschwitz
Jay's grandpa (on mom's side) house
Muszyna (where Jay grew up). I think Libby got much better pictures from the old castle ruins.
Little swimming area in a river where Jay and his friends used to go swimming. There were a bunch of these little "pools" all in a big stretch. Pretty fun.
This used to be a fountain where you can go get fresh "gassy" water. It's naturally carbonated. We did find one place where you can still get it, but this place closed due to vandals.
