Vittoria Came for a Visit

Vittoria came over for a couple hours last night. She was happy when she woke up and I took pictures.

I was trying to kiss her hand maker her smile. It did not work, but she still looks very cute and peaceful.

Then she cried. I did not take pictures.

Birds Around My House

There are some neat birds that come around my house and enjoy the pond...

The duck had some ducklings that are fun to watch grow and feed. She has about 10 or 12!!

She took them to the other side of the pond when she saw me. I guess she doesn't realize for me it's harder to reach them in the water than on land.

Then there are a couple that I don't know what they are...I think this is a Sandhill Crane, but I'm not sure.

This white one Katie tells me is a swan, but I'm not sure I believe her.

There are also some geese, but we won't talk about that...

Edited to add: After I posted this I thought, "Them birders...They're different." Oh well. :)

Baby Girl Noga #2 and Playground

It's a girl!!

Profile

Saying "Hi" to big sister, Alina

3D picture. The side of her face isn't deformed, it's just that she was too close to the ultrasound thing to get a picture.

Profile in 3D

And here is the playground progress - it's quite a big project but it's coming along!

Mary Kay's Tenure Party

It was a pretty big hit. About eighty people came.

We had a pig roast.

And a lot of food (most of which was made by Vittoria; Rhoda made the mango pie).

And a pinata.

Jay, the photographer

Jay likes to take "walking pictures". They take less time if you just keep walking than if you actually stopped to take a picture. Here are a few examples. Silly me, I deleted a few until he saw me doing that, and I found out he wanted to keep them. :)

Shoot, I missed another folder

Somehow I missed a folder. Here are some of Muszyna, including one of the back of my heel that I cut on Jay's grandpa's gate. That hurt.

This weekend

We busy... here is Alina with Tata in the skidsteer - how fun!

Alina knows exactly where the cookies are kept...
Updated pictures of the back yard - it looks awesome! :)

The new patio

The playground area... getting ready to set it up!
Alina got to play in her pool while we worked on the playground. That was fun!

End of the first day:

She is really taking off!

More Poland

Well I missed a whole section of pictures...

Zakopane - a mountain town that was really cute.

View from the top of a train thing at Zakopane

This was when Alina really started walking...

A little town near Muszyna called Krynicia (might have spelled that wrong)

In Krynicia they have a building where you can go sample all of the spring waters from around Poland. Here we are cheersing with the spring water. It's all carbonated naturally. They dig "gassy" water there.

Krynicia also has a gondola, so we rode that up. Here is the top and some pictures of the view from up there.

And that's it! :)
