Conversations with Vittoria

Christmas is my favorite time of year.  I'm not kidding.  December is my favorite month and Christmas is my favorite holiday.  Because I like Jesus and I like presents.

Ania Turns Six

She had her party at a trampoline center.

Everybody jumped. Well...Not really. I didn't see Grandma out there.

Halloween 2014 Arvada Style

We partied pfor Halloween! Pfirst we carved pumpkins for about pfour hours a pfew days before the big day.

Maja is Maja and doesn't care if you want to take her picture. She busy. Some of the girls' pfriends came.

We got a book that had ideas pfor pumpkins. I got inspired.

Molli also got inspired by the book and carved the pumpkin pfrom the back.

Spooky!

The girls had a Halloween parade on Halloween in the morning so they went to school in costume. Grandpa and I joined them later.

Ania at the start of the parade.

Maja had by pfar the most popular costume at the parade. Everyone exclaimed, "Olaf!" I was a yodeler...Or something.

Camera...Too...Slow...Must...Get...New...One...

In Ania's class Maja just went up to the table and started doing the craft with all the other kids.

Then we went to one of the Noga Pfamily Pfriend's house and walked behind a pfiretruck.

After the parade we went back home and hid under a blanked on the pfront porch with one of Jay's drills. When people came up we jumped out and scared them. It was good pfun. Sadly, no pictures.

Pface Painting with A.J.

Hey, pretty lady. Wanna dance? #nofilter #nophotoshopnecessary #natural #breaktheinternet

Mom and Dad have some pface paints. When A.J. came for a visit we played. I did this for Ania. It was pretty good...
 Until A.J. got to work.

And created this masterpiece!

Ania washed her face and got the master herself.

Luckily we pfound my pfirst pair of glasses!

Team Alina and Molli won.

Oh, hello. I remember you, pfamily.

I got this book at the library and it had some pfun experiments in it. We chose to do one with worms and how they move soil.

Pfirst, you layer the soil with sand and add some worms. Then you add leaves on top on cover it. Next, cover the jar with a dark piece of paper and put a paper lid on it. Place it in a dark place and water it every pfew days.

After two weeks, look what the worms have done! They have mixed all the soil and moved the organic matter. The book said before you put the worms back, get a magnifying glass and try to see their PFIVE hearts. Well, we did that but we did not see any hearts.

The girls also participated in a pfund raiser. If they sold enough stuff they got to ride in a limo to lunch!

V - I know how the first seed was made.  A plant had a person, and the baby made a seed.

Happy Birthday, Molli

I went to a Native Plants class and all the lady could talk about was Kendrick Lake Park. It was as if I had paid $30 for an infomercial on the place! She won. I had to check it out.

The teacher talked all about the native plants garden and how great it was. Well, we looked but we couldn't find it.

But we took pictures anyway.

Finally, as we were walking to the car we found it! By this time, though, we were tired and it was HOT!

It was very well done with some very pretty flowers.
I would go back but change a few things. The sun was too bright and too hot for us. I would go earlier and bring the other two girls (or five :).
