A knitting friend invited me to her cottage up north last weekend. I was very happy and said yes.

This is her house and the view from the deck.

Her dogs like to fish! They were there for hours in the morning and evening. They knew fish didn't like the heat of mid day.

At the end of the weekend they needed a bath!

One of Sandy's friends up there built this house himself with his wife. Jay, I thought about you a lot. They cut down the trees and stripped them themselves. They have his and her everything because, "Girls will take over your stuff if you don't watch it." Even his and her coat closets in the front hall.

Sock puppets

I made some sock puppets for a coworker of mine who had little twin girls. I think they turned out pretty cute. I forgot to take a picture and am giving them away, so I took a picture with my phone.

Spaghetti at Red Robin

Derek and I took Katie, Mary and Vittoria to Red Robin to eat. Katie and Mary both got spaghetti and Mary was particularly cute eating it.


Oh! She hears a baby crying!


See that glass filled with napkins? The waitress spilled a drink and did a marginal job cleaning it. She brought us some extra napkins, though! The dirty glass sat there the entire meal. The table was wet the entire meal as well. No, she did not even comp the drink.


Mary is also becoming a videographer. Here is her first work. Respect.

Very nice weekend in Colorado, as usual...


Alina got a new play set that is ready to go.


She is a very good helper when she grocery shops.


We helped Libby with some things around our house and needed some nourishment and a Mexican place called Santiago's. It was tasty!

When I got home my first flower had finally bloomed. I think it was saying happy birthday to me.
