35mm Film

Well, when you have a 35mm camera, the photos come in spurts. I thought that keeping things old school was a good idea, but now I'm not so sure. Especially when I have to pay $12.99 to get my photos developed so I can get the CD...Well, that's for another place to contemplate cameras....

In chronological order, first we have Katie. She likes cruising after she gets put to bed. One night we looked and looked for her. Finally I found her...In my bed. She brings her ducks where ever she goes, as you can see.


Then we went to Pfizer Pfamily Day. They did not spell it Pfamily. That's my own pfun touch. Someone needs to teach them about the pfun things you can do when your name starts with "Pf." Anyway, Katie is going down the slide at her old school. Then she is teaching Mary how to play in the sand. Or is Mary teaching her how to share???









Next, when Mary Kay, Vittoria, and Katie went to Nebraska for the second wedding reception, Derek, Mary, and I went to compass Cafe. It's like Jungle Java. You can see how seriously some people take it. They wear knee pads. That got a big LORFL.















Finally, my office got new furniture. If you have been to my office, you know that I am Harry Potter under the stairs. My office was a closet. Now I am on the left side of this photo. Although I share an office I do have a window. I thought it would be great and I would open the window and enjoy the air. I don't. I'm just annoyed I can't shut the door so people leave me alone. I also can't sing anymore. :(

One last thing. I noticed I am posting this on July 9. Happy Birthday, Derek!!!

Here are some more pics of our new house... this is the master bedroom. Right now we have our furniture in another bedroom because we are going to scrape the popcorn ceiling and also paint.

This is a before shot of the kitchen. The previous owners had a yellow kitchen with yellow ceilings and a fruit wallpaper boarder (which mom removed for us... thanks, Mom!).





I painted the kitchen green with a white ceiling. It was quite a job to paint over it, especially the ceiling. Required 2 coats, and it was not especially fun. However, I really like it now, so I guess it was all worth it.




We did get a new dual fuel oven/stove, but the guy is coming tomorrow to install the gas line so right now it is sitting in our dining room. This is the old stove.









This is the loft, which we made into an office.

New Homes

I recently took a road trip to CO to go to
Mary Jo's surprise 60th birthday party and
to see Josh's and Molli's and Jay's new homes. This is a picture of the front of Josh's new house.
You'll note the OLD Jeep....

huge back yard, with lots of trees and grass.

a new grill....ready for him to become the chef of
the Pflum Pfamily!

not very far from their old house.... neither is
Josh's..... his is in one direction, Molli's and Jay's

Jaywalking

Finally finished. The pattern for these is called "Jaywalkers" because they go up and down like jaywalking in Boston. I think they look better in the picture than they really are because the top is stretched out. The gauge isn't quite right.

Still waiting for pictures of the new houses! It's been 2 weeks. I think we've been being very patient.
