Aunt Judy and Carol

Aunt Judy and Carol had their Civil Union Ceremony on Sunday.  It was a lovely ceremony, and we wish them all the happiness in the world.

The GOAT

Last night we had a goat. The girls spent the entire commutes plugging their noses because, as you may or may not know, goats don't smell good. Especially after they poop. We took the goat (Nillie) for a walk around the neighborhood. Mary did not like it too much because Nillie did not go where she was supposed to. Vittoria was much more excited about it (and about scolding Nillie when she went astray). Then we came home and the girls spent the rest of the night on the computer. The goat was not invited for a picture in the bath tub. This is the best we could do.

Do I want to buy a what?

Mary is going to Real Life Farm. They get to bring home animals for sleep overs. Tonight was a duck (Mary thought Katie would like it, were she here). Guess who is more excited about it.

The baby sweater is done. Now where's the baby?

This was my first Elizabeth Zimmerman sweater. It is the February Baby Sweater. I made a few modifications to suit the baby's mother and my tastes.What do you think?

I burnt myself

I burnt myself while making s'mores. The hot marshmallow dropped on my knee. It was obviously sticky and hard to get off. Really hurt.
