So I Rode a Camel

It's not easy blogging here. This little bit took me over an hour. With no text. Just getting photos uploaded. Camels rode by Marita's house and I lost my lid.

We were taking photos for her sister's guitar company, so that's why there's a guitar.

Operating room!

Well apparently 2 root canals will take about an hour and a half, which is too long to expect a 2 year old to sit still in a dentist's chair, even with "conscious sedation"... so I had the pleasure of finding out that if we want Ania to keep her teeth, she will have to have general anesthesia, which means an operating room at The Children's Hospital. Scary!
The procedure itself is not very scary, but the fact that she will be under general anesthesia is what makes me nervous. I can't even imagine parents that have to go through a major surgery, I have way more empathy for that now!
Here are Ania's gray teeth (on the left) compared to Alina's nice living teeth (on the right). Alina saw me taking a picture of Ania's teeth and wanted me to take one of hers, too. Turned out to be good for comparison anyway! :)

Here are her teeth marks on our coffee table... I saw those a few weeks ago. :(

March 2 is the big day... think happy thoughts for her that day!

We watched the Super Bowl. Mary thought it would be a good time to exercise her photography skilz.







These are but a few of the approximately 50 pictures she took during the game, mostly of the TV. I am glad I do not have to develop these pictures the way Mom and Dad had to develop my pictures of my dresser and posters.

Root canals

Have you ever heard of a 2 year old having root canals??

You may have noticed in the haircut picture that I mentioned Ania banged her teeth on our coffee table. I haven't updated the blog very well about this drama, but we have been to the dentist a few times about that, and I found out this morning that they appear to NOT be getting better, so our options are to 1) have 2 root canals... or 2) wait see if they get better (which they appear to be getting worse). If they get worse (die), our only option will be to pull both of them. So we’re opting for the root canals.

I will take pictures of her teeth and post them when I get a chance. They are gray. :(
