Spring Break
Here are a few still photos from Mary's recital. I tried to get the ones that show Nina's moves the best.
Katie got to go up on stage at the end and dance.
The weather is warming up a bit, so we played on the tire swing.
And gardened.
Mary, V and I went to the petting zoo. Mary was not so keen on it. It smelled and was cold. She was ready to go after about 30 min. She was super excited to have lunch in the car, though. A little car picnic. So we did. At 10:45. :)
The woman who took this failed miserably and I was too embarrassed to ask someone else to redo it right in front of her as we were on the hayride.

Mary's Dance Recital
The video conditions were challenging, but I think Katie did a fine job. Plus, even Mary's parents will have to admit that she is not the most entertaining thing about this video.
Mary's 5th Birthday
Mary had a princess party at home. She and her guests got all dressed up.
One of the moms paints faces, so that was an unexpected bonus.
All the princesses walked down the aisle for their coronation.
The whole group. Minus Vittoria. Who napped and was shy after she woke up.
The whole group waiting for the cake and tea party.
Singing Happy Birthday.
Opening presents.
Katie, right before her shower to wash the face painting off.

Conversations with Mary
Mary - What are you guys talking about.
Mary Kay - That I need to cut Dad's hair so he looks more handsome.
Mary - Daddy, you look just fine.

Alina's birthday party and a whole lot of other pictures
It's been a very long time since I posted... so this one has a lot of pictures. Since Blogger puts them in reverse order (and I don't feel like taking the time to change them back), they are in reverse order. Today was Alina's birthday party.
Uncle Glenn pointed out that he's been to more of Alina's birthday parties than Grandma and Grandpa. :)
Ryan helped Alina blow out her candles since Alina got really shy during the birthday song and almost didn't have the courage to blow them out herself.
Talking to Chuck E Cheese on the phone. She liked it better when she talked to him on the phone than when he came over to say hi to her.
The birthday cake. She wanted a purple cake with Princess Analiese (sp?). I also included the cat, Serafina. For some reason blogger wants this picture sideways.
While I was making Alina's cake... RIGHT next to Ania... she somehow managed to get into the cabinet, open the coffee container, and dump it all over the kitchen floor. All without me noticing a thing (until it was too late). Oh well, it was FUN! :)
They have rediscovered the Elmo doll Aunt Libby gave to Alina when Ania was born. It is a big hit again now.
Ania likes to take her pants off. It's a neat trick. I usually have to put her in overalls or a onesie when I take her to day care.
Babcia and Ania as we were leaving. Ania was ready for a nap!
